Hank came out today and did a summerization check up. Noticed some sprinklers broken/not spraying properly. He took the time to fix them and explain why he was doing it. We also talked through general irrigation tips/ideas, which I felt like I learned a ton from. I highly recommend this service. They do a good job and have friendly techs.

Having a great lawn depends on three things: dirt, grass, and water. The dirt and grass are pretty stable from week to week, but getting the water in the right place at the right time in an ever changing climate each week is a challenge. I have had the opportunity of working with Ian and Dave over at Conserva Irrigation of West Austin on several projects now, and each time they provide insight and encouragement on how to have a great landscape. Just yesterday Ian installed a new Hunter Hydrawise irrigation controller and he showed me how to program it and set it to run every Wednesday at 4am to meet the city's watering requirements. Now I can sit at my desk at work and turn zones on and off and review reports and regulate and the actual amount of water the system is using to fine tune the landscape. Today is our assigned watering day and I don't think Captain Kirk has as much control from the bridge of the Starship Enterprise as I do! And yes, I did wake up at 4am just to watch the system kickoff. Kudos to Ian and Dave.

Would recommend this company for any of your irrigation needs. They initially came by in early March to do a minor repair. They were able fix it at a reasonable cost. But then I had another issue come up today related to the last repair, and they sent one of their lead technicians, Ian. Ian was friendly, efficient, knowledgable and was able to resolve the problem quickly. Highly recommend.

Out of sheer luck, the day I needed to contact a sprinkler repair company, someone posted a recommendation for Conserva Irrigation in our neighborhood Google group. Their quote: "Very professional, competitive price, timely, very prompt service." Well, I couldn't agree with them more. Conserva set up an appointment with me and Ian arrived promptly, and quickly assessed the problem with my system. He was friendly, professional, and he worked with me to get done exactly what I needed to do to revive my neglected system. As I am on a tight (retiree) budget, I thought their proposal was reasonable and competitive. Importantly, during the initial assessment, Ian found a valve box that had been buried for 20 years! This made me very happy! Everyone I've dealt with at Conserva, including Rachel in the front office, has been Texas-level friendly. I recommend them highly!
